Wichita’s Makerspace

Where Creativity Comes to Life

MakeICT is a nonprofit, member-run community makerspace. We provide the tools, space, and classes to help you dream, design, and build — together.

At MakeICT, you’ll find more than just equipment. You’ll find community. Our 22,000 sq. ft. space is home to workshops for woodworking, metal, textiles, ceramics, electronics, 3D printing, and more — plus a team of passionate makers always ready to share knowledge.

Founded in 2012 and rooted in Wichita, MakeICT runs on the power of its members and volunteers. In 2019, we purchased the former Booth Elementary School to give Wichita’s creative community a permanent home. Today, hundreds of makers come here to learn, teach, and bring ideas to life.

That gives you a fun, energizing headline, a clear mission subheading, and then two professional but approachable body paragraphs.

Would you like me to also suggest a call-to-action button for this section (like “Join Today” or “Take a Class”), so people immediately know what to do next?
